Celebrities who bought homes in 2020

The year 2020 brought the entire world to a standstill. People were confined inside the four walls of their house and our Bollywood celebrities were no exception. However, this did not stop them from buying and selling luxurious properties.

From Hrithik Roshan to Alia Bhatt to Ayushmann Khurrana, here is a list of B-town stars who bought homes in 2020.

Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan made jaws drop recently after he purchased two new apartments worth a whopping Rs 97.50 crore.

While one of the apartments is reportedly spread across 38,000 sq.ft with a flawless sea view, the other one is a duplex. Both the houses are located on the 14th, 15th and 16th floor of the building called Mannat on the Juhu-Versova Link road. According to a report in a news portal, the actor plans to integrate the two apartments to make a “mansion-in-the-air”.

Much to the disappointment of their fans, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor did not tie the know last year. However, after spending some quality time together during the lockdown, Alia has moved closer to Ranbir Kapoor by buying a house in his apartment complex.

According to a report in a news portal, the ‘Raazi’ star bought the house for a whopping of Rs 32 crore’. It is a 2460 sq. ft apartment in Bandra, Mumbai.

Actor Vikrant Massey joined the bandwagon of actors buying new properties last year after he bought a home on the occasion of Diwali in Mumbai.

The actor, who recently got engaged to his girlfriend Sheetal Love, shared the news with his fans on social media.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who already has a sprawling house in Mumbai, recently bought a new property in his hometown Chandigarh. The family home is reportedly worth Rs 9 crore.

According to a report in a news portal, his entire family decided to buy this new home where the Khurranas can stay together. The actor also added that he is looking forward to creating new memories in their new house.

Arshad Warsi ditched Mumbai and bought a new luxurious property in Goa just around the time when the lockdown was announced last year.

Yami Gautam has been on a roll in her career. The actress too bought a duplex apartment in Chandigarh.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the actor also owns a 100-year-old heritage home spread on a 25-acre land in Gohar that she bought in 2016 and a sprawling farmhouse in Himachal.
